Audible is a subscription service that grants you access to an extensive collection of audiobooks without the need to buy them outright. There are two paid plans: Audible Plus, at $7.95 per month, and the more comprehensive Audible Premium Plus, at $14.95 per month. The key difference lies in the library size; Audible Plus offers about 10,000 titles, whereas Audible Premium Plus boasts a massive selection of 500,000 audiobooks. This includes classics such as Frank Herbert's *Dune*, *Harry Potter*, *Game of Thrones* (A Song of Ice and Fire), *The Witcher*, *The Sandman Series*, and *The Lord of the Rings*.

The expanded library is the main attraction of the Audible Premium Plus membership, but there are additional benefits as well. Each month, Premium Plus members can select one audiobook to add to their permanent collection, even if they cancel their subscription later. Plus, members enjoy a 30% discount on additional audiobook purchases and access to exclusive limited-time deals.

If you're planning to buy a few audiobooks, it's a smart move to spend less than $3 for three months of Audible Premium Plus, which includes three audiobooks to keep forever. This promotion is a rare opportunity that occurs only a few times a year, so don't squander your "first-time subscriber" status on a brief 30-day trial.
