Sonic Rumble Pre-Launch Event Adds Monkey Ball, Altered Beast

Sonic Rumble is launching an exclusive crossover event before its worldwide release. Classic Sega characters from Altered Beast, Fantasy Zone, and Super Monkey Ball will join the battle royale action.

Limited-Time Character Unlocks

Though the global launch isn't until May 8th, the game is already rolling out its first crossover event. Rather than external partnerships, this event celebrates Sega's iconic legacy characters.

The pre-release event runs from today through May 7th, currently available in soft launch regions. Players can claim the Werewolf from Altered Beast as a free character during this period.

SEGA Star Event Pass subscribers gain access to additional content including:

• The Weredragon (Altered Beast)
• Opa-Opa (Fantasy Zone)

More characters will be available through different in-game shops:

• Ring Shop: Upa-Upa and Werebear
• Red Star Ring Shop: AiAi and MeeMee from Super Monkey Ball

Future Crossover Plans
