Sony's Marvel Spin-Offs: 2025 Spider-Man Universe Updates

Spider-Man boasts a rich roster of allies and adversaries, fueling Sony's ambition to craft an expansive cinematic universe. Initially launched with a bold slate of spin-off films and series, Sony's Spider-Man Universe has narrowed, with only a few projects still active. The standout is Tom Holland’s next live-action outing in the yet-to-be-titled Spider-Man 4. Meanwhile, titles like Madame Web, Morbius, and Kraven have faded into memory, the Venom trilogy has concluded, Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse is set for another animated sequel, and a Spider-Man Noir series featuring Nicolas Cage is in development.

While Sony has scaled back on new villain-centric spin-offs, several projects remain in motion, with others lingering in uncertainty.
