Where To Find the Special Time Capsule in The Sims 4 Blast from the Past Event

Unlocking the Secrets of The Sims 4's Blast from the Past Event: Finding the Special Time Capsule

The Sims 4's Blast from the Past event has players on a scavenger hunt, but one task—locating the Special Time Capsule—is proving particularly tricky. This guide will show you exactly where to find it before the event ends.

The event begins with a quest to uncover information about a mysterious visitor, Emit. You'll need to utilize various in-game activities like watching TV, checking social media, and interacting with other Sims. However, the search for the Special Time Capsule adds a layer of complexity.

The clues are minimal: look for rocks in parks. A good starting point is Willow Creek park, where you'll have already encountered Emit. Examine the rocks in this area; one will contain what looks like diamonds. Interact with the rock to unearth the Special Time Capsule. Keep in mind that you might need to check several rocks before you find the correct one.

What's Inside the Special Time Capsule?

Upon discovering the capsule, you'll be prompted to open it. Inside, you'll find an IOU note—perhaps less exciting than the treasure hunt itself! Nevertheless, reading the note and returning to Emit will unlock further quests within the Blast from the Past event.

How Long Does the Event Last?

The Blast from the Past event offers numerous quests, so take your time. Fortunately, the event runs until March 18, 2025, giving you ample opportunity to complete all tasks. However, participating in all four weeks is highly recommended, as it unlocks valuable rewards:

• Week 1: Retro Deco Phone Set, Relevart Time Walkers, The Yesterday Set floor tiles, The Future’s So Bright “Sun” Glasses, The Fun-Fun Inflatable Set, Part One
• Week 2: Get Up! Alarm Clock, Be “The Emit” full body outfit, Bigger Gatherings Banquet, The Relevart Neck Stabilizer bow tie
• Week 3: The Fun-Fun Inflatable Set, Part Two, Dina Caliente’s LBD, New Retro Station Songs, Sticky Fingers aspiration
• Week 4: Surprise Birthday Cake, The ElectroDance Floor
