GSC Game World reveals S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy - Enhanced Edition, a next-generation upgrade for the classic trilogy, launching on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X/S on May 20.
The Enhanced Edition revamps Shadow of Chornobyl (2007), Clear Sky (2008), and Call of Prypiat (2009) with improved graphics, console optimizations, and expanded mod support.
GSC Game World confirmed that owners of the S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy on Xbox Series X/S or PS5 will receive the Enhanced Edition at no extra cost.
For PC users, GSC Game World offers free Enhanced Edition upgrades to existing owners of the original trilogy. New buyers of the Enhanced Edition get the original versions included. The bundle costs $39.99, or $19.99 per game.
Cross-platform save transfers between PC and consoles are not available. Progress remains tied to the chosen platform.
On PS5 and Xbox Series X/S, the Enhanced Edition offers frame-rate options: 30 FPS and 60 FPS standard modes, plus 40 FPS and up to 120 FPS for VRR-compatible displays.
The console version includes Quality Balanced, Performance, and Ultra Performance modes for tailored graphical settings.
