Following a minor leak last week, EA has officially unveiled the title of their upcoming Star Wars game, Star Wars: Zero Company, which is being crafted by the newly established studio, Bit Reactor, with assistance from Lucasfilm Games and Respawn. The game is described as a "single-player turn-based tactics game," and fans won't have to wait long for more details, as EA is set to provide a first glimpse at the game during the Star Wars Celebration in Japan on April 19.

Bit Reactor, formed in 2022, is a strategy game studio composed of industry veterans from renowned titles such as XCOM, Civilization, Gears of War, and Elder Scrolls Online. Although it's been known that they were collaborating with Respawn on a Star Wars project, this marks the first time we've gotten concrete details about Star Wars: Zero Company.
The extent of Respawn's involvement remains somewhat ambiguous. The studio has faced its share of challenges recently, including the cancellation of its own Star Wars FPS project a year ago, mass layoffs at EA, and the termination of another multiplayer FPS project just last month.
Further details about Star Wars: Zero Company will be unveiled during a live panel on April 19 at 4:30pm local time in Japan. For fans in the U.S., that translates to an early morning reveal at 12:30am PT and 3:30am ET, so mark your calendars and set your alarms accordingly.
