Another week brings more excitement to the Pokémon single card market as trainers eagerly await the release of Destined Rivals. Fortunately, the preorders for the Black Bolt and White Flare Pokémon Center collections managed to evade a bot takeover this time around.

The biggest price drop this week was for Greninja ex 214/167, which has plummeted nearly 50% since the beginning of the year. We're also seeing significant price reductions in the Obsidian Flames and 151 expansions. On the flip side, Dragonite V from Evolving Skies has nearly doubled in value since January, and its stunning artwork has always made it a card worth watching.

Charizard V Alt Art continues to impress, showcasing a battle against Venusaur and steadily increasing in value. Meanwhile, Rayquaza VMAX Alt Art is soaring, gaining an impressive $100 in value since the start of the year. Let's delve into the week's most notable Pokémon TCG price movements.

While Sword and Shield era Pokémon cards are on the rise, Scarlet and Violet series cards are returning to more reasonable prices.

Alakazam ex SIR from 151 is a stunning card, now 34% cheaper than at the beginning of March. It's a must-have for any collection this year.

Bulbasaur was my first starter in Pokémon Blue, so Bulbasaur IR holds a special place in my heart. Its value has dropped by 52% since mid-March, making it an excellent time to add this beautiful card to your collection.

In the Obsidian Flames set, Ninetales IR stands out as one of the best cards. It's seen a 40% price drop since February and is now available for a reasonable $18.17.

Charizard ex SIR from Obsidian Flames boasts a unique stained glass look in its Tera form, making it a showpiece. Although it hasn't dropped much since March, every dollar saved counts.

Greninja ex SIR experienced the steepest decline this month. Once poised to be the most expensive Scarlet and Violet era card, its price has been overshadowed by the release of Prismatic Evolutions. It's still a great card, holding steady at $275, but it's a stark contrast to its $411.62 price tag at the end of February.

Pokémon Card Climbers

Turning to this week's climbers, Rayquaza VMAX Alt Art remains a prized possession from the Sword and Shield era. Already a $500+ card, it's now at $649.99 and showing no signs of slowing down. It could potentially reach $1,000 in the coming years, so it's a wise investment if you can afford it.

Charizard V Alt Art captures a dynamic battle with Venusaur, breaking away from the static poses common in many Pokémon cards. Its value has increased by $40 since January and could easily surpass $200 before the year ends.

Dragonite V Alt Art from Evolving Skies is a fan favorite, showcasing the Pokémon's adorable yet fierce nature. Its value has nearly doubled since mid-January, now sitting at a solid $225. Be sure to grab one before its value soars even higher. Don't miss out on last week's article, which featured some incredible cards as well.

Pokémon Card Sealed Boosters

For those dedicated to pulling chase cards themselves, here's what's currently in stock. Be cautious of prices above MSRP; it's a tricky time for Pokémon trainers, so avoid overpaying.
