How Does The Terminator Event Work in Black Ops 6 & Warzone?

The Terminator event in Black Ops 6 and Warzone functions similarly to the previous Archie’s Festival Frenzy event, but with a unique twist. Instead of relying on XP or challenges, players must collect a new currency called Skulls during matches. These Skulls can be traded for rewards in the event tab, fitting the theme of the T-800’s deadly nature and skeletal frame.

Skulls are obtained from eliminations in Multiplayer and Zombies modes, or by opening caches in Warzone. To collect a Skull, players must walk over it after it drops. You can track your total collection in the pause menu or The Terminator event tab.

However, not every elimination or cache opening guarantees a Skull. Their drops appear somewhat random, so stay vigilant after each action, looking for floating Skulls near the ground and listening for specific audio cues signaling their spawn and collection.

How To Earn Skulls Fast in The Terminator Event in Call of Duty

Given the randomness of Skull drops, the key to progressing quickly is to maximize your opportunities for eliminations and cache openings. Here are the best strategies for each mode in Call of Duty:

• Black Ops 6 Multiplayer: Opt for Kill Confirmed on smaller maps like Nuketown to increase your chances of earning Skulls.
• Black Ops 6 Zombies: Use the Rampage Inducer and focus on early rounds (before Round 6) in maps like Liberty Falls or The Tomb. Utilize GobbleGums like Hidden Power, Crate Power, or Wall Power to enhance your weapon and expedite zombie eliminations.
• Warzone: In Resurgence, open as many chests as possible, with Solos being the most effective. However, be aware that unopened caches become scarcer as the match progresses.
