According to Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 Executive Producer Marco Behrmann, "The status of the game right now is that the game is done. We are currently focusing on bug fixing, stability, and performance so that we can deliver the best experience to you guys once it releases." This statement reassures fans that the core development is complete, and the focus is now on refining the game's quality.

While the delay is another setback in the game's troubled history, the update video also brought some positive news. The Chinese Room has enhanced the game with additional content, deeper narrative elements, and improved character development. Fans can look forward to an "evolved role" for the character Fabien in the storyline.
