"Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 Release Pushed to Late 2025 for Stability, Performance"

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 faces yet another delay, with the new release window set for October 2025. This announcement comes via the game's official Twitter (X) account on March 26, accompanied by a video update from Executive Producer Marco Behrmann. In the video, Behrmann shares, "The status of the game right now is that the game is done. We are currently working on bug fixing, stability, and performance so we can deliver the best experience to you guys once it releases." This focus on quality assurance is aimed at ensuring a smooth and enjoyable experience for players upon release.

Paradox Interactive has been keeping the community engaged with Dev Diaries that delve into the game's characters, stories, and mechanics. However, to concentrate their efforts on enhancing the game, all Dev Diaries have been paused temporarily. This strategic move underscores Paradox's commitment to delivering a polished final product.

A History of Delays

First unveiled in March 2019, Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 was initially slated for a March 2020 launch. The project was originally in the hands of developer Hardsuit Labs. However, the release was postponed to an unspecified date in 2020, and then further delayed to 2021. Amidst these delays, the game saw several key personnel departures. In a significant shift, Paradox Interactive announced in February 2021 that Hardsuit Labs would no longer be developing the game, and The Chinese Room took over the reins. Under The Chinese Room's stewardship, the release was expected in late 2024, then pushed to the first half of 2025, and now to late 2025.

Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is set to launch on PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in October 2025. For the latest updates on this much-anticipated title, be sure to check out our article below!
