War Robots Taps Designer Kunio Okawara

• War Robots collaborates with legendary mecha designer Kunio Okawara
• Okawara co-created the original Gundam's iconic design
• Exclusive SWORD Unit 190 will debut in a special limited-time event

Japan has long dominated the mecha genre, establishing two distinct styles: the realistic "real robot" and fantasy-inspired "super robot." My.Games' War Robots now joins forces with industry veteran Kunio Okawara to introduce his exclusive mechanical design to the game.

Okawara gained worldwide recognition for designing the original Gundam alongside director Yoshiyuki Tomino. This iconic real robot has starred in numerous anime series and even major Hollywood productions like Ready Player One.

Players will soon command Okawara's original creation - the DSC Corporation's SWORD Unit 190, complete with customizable plasma weapons and drone attachments matching his signature style.

The SWORD Unit arrives during the special MECHA Raider S.W.O.R.D event running May 20th through June 1st, celebrating classic real robot aesthetics and gameplay.

Okawara's participation brings authentic mecha credibility to War Robots. Even newcomers will appreciate this visually striking addition to their war machine collection.
