World of Warcraft enthusiasts can now experiment with their character's appearance in exciting new ways, thanks to the introduction of Noggenfogger Select elixirs. These innovative potions allow players to adjust their character's height either up or down for a short period, offering a fun and affordable means of personalization. While they don't offer the permanence of a height slider, these elixirs provide a delightful way to tweak your character's look on the fly.
Patch 11.1, dubbed Undermined, is currently live on the Public Test Realm, giving fans a sneak peek at the upcoming changes. This update promises to enrich The War Within's narrative with compelling plot twists and enhance the visual appeal of various WoW classes. But one of the most talked-about features in this patch is the introduction of the Noggenfogger Select UP and Noggenfogger Select DOWN potions.
These new consumables subtly alter a character's height, stacking up to 10 times, and last for 30 minutes, even surviving character death. They're perfect for roleplaying, capturing memorable screenshots, or simply adding a personal touch during dungeon runs and raids. Available from Alchemist Pestlezugg in the Vatworks, the main Steemwheedle reputation hub in the new Undermine zone, these potions cost just over three gold each and can be freely traded among characters of any level.
While other items in WoW can dramatically change a character's size, the Noggenfogger Select potions provide a more nuanced approach. Even at maximum stacks, the height change is minimal, making these potions ideal for those seeking subtle adjustments, as evidenced by Wowhead's screenshots. In contrast, items like the Elixir of Giant Growth or the original Noggenfogger Elixir cause much more noticeable alterations.
Alchemist Pestlezugg also offers the Noggenfogger Select FRESH, a potion exclusive to Goblins that unlocks the stylish, NPC-only lean emote. Although many races have this emote in the game files, only Goblins can access it through this consumable, adding another layer of unique customization.
The community has warmly received these new tonics, though many players express a desire for a more permanent solution to character height variation. A height slider seems unlikely without a major character customization overhaul. In the meantime, WoW players can use items like the Seabed Leviathan's Citrine, play as Colossus Warriors, or rely on Noggenfogger Select and similar consumables to fine-tune their character's stature.
