World of Warships: Blitz launches its 8.2 update, introducing swift ships and dynamic gameplay. The centerpiece is Turbo Strike, a thrilling new mode, alongside a host of fresh features. Dive in for the full details.
This new mode brings fast-paced battles with respawns, allowing captains to rejoin the fight after sinking. Victory goes to the first team to hit 1,000 points or capture the base. Turbo Strike features a single dedicated map and regular power-up drops.
Randomized airdrop buffs spawn periodically and can stack up to four times. After securing three kills, players unlock a guided missile with slight maneuverability before impact. Each ship class also gains unique attribute boosts exclusive to Turbo Strike.
World of Warships: Blitz Update 8.2 introduces Variable Torpedoes, a mechanic rewarding close-range combat. From 0 to 6 km, torpedoes deal full damage, tapering to 60% at 12 km.
The update welcomes French destroyers, starting with L’Adroit at Tier V, blending potent guns, torpedoes, and agility.
Progressing to Le Hardi at Tier VII and Orage at Tier IX, these ships excel in stealth, speed, and devastating close-quarters attacks.
From Tier VII, French destroyers wield Variable Torpedoes and feature the Emergency Engine Accelerator, boosting acceleration, deceleration, and top speed by 25% for 10 seconds.
The update also unveils Maine, a formidable Supership. Download the game from the Google Play Store.
