WoW: Anniversary Event Currency Extended for Latecomers

World of Warcraft's Patch 11.1 will automatically convert leftover Bronze Celebration Tokens into Timewarped Badges. This conversion, at a rate of 1 Bronze Celebration Token for every 20 Timewarped Badges, will occur upon players' first login after the patch launches.

The WoW 20th-anniversary event, concluding on January 7th, offered players numerous Bronze Celebration Tokens used for purchasing revamped Tier 2 sets and anniversary items. Any remaining tokens were previously exchangeable for Timewarped Badges, the currency for Timewalking events.

Blizzard confirmed that Bronze Celebration Tokens will have no future use. This automatic conversion prevents players from retaining unused, obsolete currency. The 1:20 conversion rate mirrors the in-event exchange rate.

While Patch 11.1 lacks an official release date, February 25th is a strong contender, aligning with Blizzard's recent release schedule and following the conclusion of the Plunderstorm and Turbulent Timeways events (January 14th - February 17th and now through February 24th respectively).

Consequently, the token conversion will likely occur after the Turbulent Timeways event ends. Timewarped Badges can be used in various Timewalking campaigns, with no planned removal of purchasable rewards, allowing players to save them for future events.
