Samsung Notes is a versatile tool that allows you to create, edit, and collaborate on documents across your mobile, tablet, or PC. Whether you're working on a project alone or with others, Samsung Notes offers seamless integration and functionality that enhances productivity. With the ability to add annotations to PDFs using the S Pen, you can enrich your documents with personal touches. Furthermore, you can create documents that incorporate images or voice recordings, making your notes more comprehensive and dynamic.

The app's compatibility extends to various formats, allowing you to connect your documents with apps such as PDF, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft PowerPoint. This feature ensures that your notes can be easily shared and utilized across different platforms, enhancing your collaborative efforts.

Getting Started with Samsung Notes

To begin using Samsung Notes, simply tap the + icon located in the bottom right corner of the main screen to create a new note. These notes will be saved with the "sdocx" extension, ensuring compatibility and easy management.

Securing Your Notes

Protecting your notes is straightforward:

1. Navigate to the main screen, tap "More Options" in the upper right corner, and select "Settings," followed by "Lock Note." Here, you can choose your preferred note locking method and set a password.
2. To secure specific notes, open the note you wish to protect, tap "More Options," and select "Lock Note."

Enhancing Your Notes

Create handwritten notes by tapping the Handwriting icon. Your handwriting will appear directly on your note, adding a personal touch to your documentation.

To add photos, tap the photo icon within your note. You can either take a new photo or select an existing one to add, tag, and edit.

Voice recordings can be incorporated by tapping the Voice Recording icon, allowing you to capture audio and enhance your notes with sound.

Experiment with various writing tools by tapping the Pen icon. Choose from pens, fountain pens, pencils, highlighters, and customize with different colors and thicknesses. Use the Eraser icon to remove any unwanted content selectively.

Importing Existing Notes and Memos

With the Smart Switch feature, you can import notes and memos created in S Note and Memo from other devices. Additionally, you can import previously created notes and memos using your Samsung account, ensuring all your data is accessible in one place.

Samsung Notes requires certain permissions to function optimally:
