Welcome to the battle of Carcassonne, a captivating multiplayer board game that you can enjoy both offline and online in stunning 3D. In this interactive tile and strategy game, you and your friends can conquer the medieval city or challenge the improved AI in solo mode. Dive into the tile-based game Conquest of Carcassonne and engage in a thrilling war where players strategically place their tiles to construct a medieval city empire!
The goal is to score as many points as possible by laying out cards on the playing field. These cards represent three key areas: roads, forests, and towns. Your challenge is to match and complete these areas, conquering all medieval towns in this engaging board game of life.
Strategy and tactics are crucial as you place your tiles around the board and outsmart your rivals in online play. Keep Carcassonne free from enemies and emerge victorious.
The game board evolves as players build a medieval landscape throughout the game. Starting with a single terrain tile face up and 71 more shuffled face down, players draw and place tiles. Enjoy this top tabletop game and strive to win the war of Carcassonne.
On each turn, a player draws a new terrain tile and must place it adjacent to existing face-up tiles. The new tile must connect features correctly: roads to roads, fields to fields, and cities to cities. This game is perfect for fans of tabletop games and those who loved board games during their childhood.
After placing a tile, players can opt to place a "follower" or "meeple" on one of the tile's allowed slots. However, a follower cannot claim any section that extends or connects to sections already claimed by other players.
The game concludes when the last tile is placed. At this point, all tiles, including fields, score points for the players with followers on them. The player with the highest score wins the game of Carcassonne.
This is the evolution of board games, featuring fast gameplay and an automatic scoring system. During a player's turn, completed cities, cloisters, and roads score points immediately, while fields score at the game's end.
If two players place followers in the same section, the player with more followers in that area earns the points. In case of a tie, both players receive the points.
