Jump King, the notorious 2D platformer that's become a beloved challenge for gamers who thrive on overcoming frustration, has now made its way to mobile devices. Developed by Nexile and published by UKIYO Publishing, the game has been released globally for both Android and iOS platforms following a successful soft launch in the UK, Canada, the Philippines, and Denmark back in March. Originally launched on PC in 2019 and on consoles in 2020, Jump King brings its signature brutal jumping mechanics to a new audience.
In Jump King, you take on the role of an armored knight whose sole task is to jump. Sounds simple, right? Wrong. Each jump requires pinpoint precision and timing, as a single misstep sends you tumbling back to the start. The autosave feature after every jump adds to the game's intensity, ensuring every decision is permanent.
Your ultimate goal is to ascend to the top and meet the Smoking Hot Babe of Legend. Be warned: there are no shortcuts here. One poorly timed leap and you're back to square one, ready to jump all over again.
The mobile version maintains the accuracy of its controls, adapting them seamlessly for touchscreens. To jump, you simply hold to charge and release to soar. The game is a true test of precision, patience, and the ability to manage panic and poor decisions under pressure.
Jump King Mobile operates on a heart-based system. You begin with 300 hearts, and each fall costs you one. Replenish your supply by spinning a daily fortune wheel, which can award between 10 to 150 hearts, or by watching ads to earn up to 150 free hearts.
The mobile version also includes two full expansions: New Babe+ offers a second chapter with a bizarre and challenging new path, while Ghost of the Babe introduces a haunting third act set in a desolate landscape beyond Philosopher's Forest.
If this sounds intriguing, you can download Jump King from the Google Play Store and start your jumping journey today.
