As we approach the summer season, Pokémon Go enthusiasts have much to look forward to with the upcoming June update, despite the less-than-ideal rainy weather. This exciting update is set to roll out a variety of new features and events that will keep players engaged and entertained throughout the month.

The highlight of the update includes the introduction of three new featured Pokémon: Shadow Regice, Gigantamax Inteleon, and Gigantamax Cinderace. These additions are sure to spice up your gameplay with their unique abilities and appearances. Accompanying these featured Pokémon are a series of Dynamax battles, each spotlighting different Pokémon throughout June. You can expect to encounter Chansey on June 2nd, Machop from June 9th to 15th, Hatenna from June 16th to 22nd, Caterpie from June 23rd to 29th, and Shuckle from June 30th to July 6th. These battles will be available at Power Spots, adding an extra layer of excitement to your Pokémon Go adventures.

The update wouldn't be complete without challenging five-star Raids. Prepare to face off against Tapu Bulu from June 3rd to 5th, Groudon from June 5th to 14th, Kyogre from June 14th to 23rd, and Cobalion from June 30th to July 8th. Keep an eye out for Shiny versions of these powerful Pokémon, which could be a rewarding catch for lucky trainers.

For those interested in Shadow Raids, the spotlight will be on Shadow Regice, appearing during weekends in June. Additionally, Mega Raids will feature mega versions of Altaria (June 3rd-5th), Abomasnow (June 5th-14th), Manectric (June 14th-23rd), Beedrill (June 23rd-30th), and Aggron (June 30th-July 8th), providing ample opportunities for thrilling battles and captures.

To keep the excitement going, several events are planned for June. The Serene Retreat event kicks off from May 30th to June 3rd, followed by Instrumental Wonders, Phantom Ruins, Community Days, and a mystery event. These events promise to bring a variety of challenges and rewards, making the rainy pre-summer period a lively time for Pokémon Go players.
